This is a critical role designed to enhance the efficiency and compliance of supply chain operations in the defense sector. As the Consultant for Supply Chain Management, you will oversee procurement, logistics, and supply chain activities, ensuring smooth operations across various ministries, authorities, and stakeholders in the defense sector.

Position Details:

Job Title: Consultant Supply Chain Management

• Qualification & Experience:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a certification in Supply Chain Management (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 5 years of senior-level experience in supply chain management within the defense or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, public procurement rules, and contract management.
• Age Limit: Maximum 55 years (as of the last date for application submission).

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping and enhancing the supply chain processes in the defense sector, with responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Develop and Manage Supply Chain Strategies:
   Optimize resource allocation, logistics, and operational efficiency.
2. Lifecycle Management:
   Oversee warehousing, inventory management, and life cycle processes to ensure cost-effective and sustainable operations.
3. Coordination with Stakeholders:
   Facilitate smooth coordination with government ministries, GHQ, CMAs, customs authorities, and banks to ensure seamless supply chain processes.
4. Ensure Compliance:
   Adhere to Public Procurement Rules and international trade regulations to ensure ethical and transparent procurement practices.
5. Data Analysis and Forecasting:
   Use data analysis to predict trends and make informed decisions to improve supply chain efficiency.
6. Sustainable Practices:
   Implement modern, sustainable strategies using ERP systems and other tools to enhance the supply chain’s long-term effectiveness.
7. Cross-Sector Collaboration:
   Foster coordination among defense and public sector stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Supply Chain Tools and ERP Systems:
  A deep understanding of supply chain management software and tools.
• Strong Analytical Skills:
  The ability to interpret complex data, forecast trends, and use insights to make decisions.
• Communication and Coordination:
  Excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships and ensure effective collaboration with various departments and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Procurement Regulations:
  A solid grasp of public procurement rules and compliance is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with Logistics and Warehousing:
  Experience with managing inventory, logistics, and warehouse operations.

Terms and Conditions:
